Laham Ajeen is usually described as Middle Eastern meat “mini pizza.” The shape may look similar, but we promise that you will have a whole new meaning and love for “pizza”! While the crust might resemble that of your usual pizza dough crust, the toppings are very different and intensely flavorful. The tomato sauce is mixed with the beef and layered on the dough along with other ingredients like onions, tomatoes, peppers and pomegranate molasses which give it a delightful sweet and sour taste!
Dough: All-Purpose White Flour, Water, Olive Oil, Plain Yogurt, Salt, Sugar, Yeast
Laham Ajeen Topping: Ground Beef, Tomato, Green Pepper, Onion, Tomato Paste, Pomegranate Molasses, Black Pepper, Salt
Microwave: Microwave Beef (Laham Ajeen)/Chicken (Mosakhan)/Spinach/Cheese/Hot dog/Potato Pastry for 1-2 minutes and serve hot
Oven: Pre-heat oven to 175°C (350°F), place Beef (Laham Ajeen)/Chicken (Mosakhan)/Spinach/Cheese/Hot dog/Potato Pastry on a tray with baking sheet in the oven for approximately 10-15 minutes and serve hot
